The brief
MSP Camp needed to make a persuasive case to accounting firms: the profession has always evolved alongside technology, and firms that cling to outdated systems risk both their competitiveness and their security. The video had to entertain first, then land on MSP Camp's modern solution — so the argument needed to feel like a story, not a sales pitch.
Storyboarding
Every scene started on paper. I mapped the full “evolution” arc — ancient scribe to modern office — as a shot-by-shot storyboard, so the narrative and the transitions were locked before a single frame was animated.

Character design
Each era needed its own cast — caveman, ancient scribe, Renaissance merchant, Victorian gentleman, modern professional — all drawn in one consistent style so the story reads as a single throughline. Rough sketches first, then final color.

Rigging & animation
Characters and props were rigged and animated in After Effects — smooth, hand-tuned motion for every scene, plus the era-to-era transitions that carry the story forward. A peek under the hood:
The result
A polished, on-brand explainer that turns a dry “modernize your firm” message into a story worth watching — and ends on MSP Camp's solution. From blank storyboard to finished film, every step was handled in-house at Wibby Creatives.
